The finding identify that the most significant obstacles are:
I.T. tools are changing to fast to keep current, extra time needed after integrating I.T. tools in teaching.
Poor technical suport can would make negative impact on educator's desire to integrate IT tools in teaching. Support from technical staff is critical to ensure educators to concentrate in preparing and delivering the course content. At the initial stage of IT tools, support and advices from technical staff are needed for selection and integration of the necessary hardware and software. During the delivery of lesson to the student, technical support is urgently needed to troubleshoot and repair in any malfunction equipment. For those who are interesred in developing their own course content, a multi-skilled team of technical support is necessary for the development phase.
Educators would be more likely to use the IT tools when clear vision and incentives system are established for using it. It will affect how the educators perceive the value of of integrating IT tools for their teaching, and subsequently affect the amount of effort and time on using it. It will also affect the willingness of the educators in exploring IT tools and trying to integrate them in teaching.
According to one of the famous IT McCormack, that educators commented scarcity of of time available to commit to the time consuming nature of developing technology based materials. Butler and Sellbom stated also their findings was the time it takes to learn to use new technologies was the second biggest concern of the faculty. He also added that in addition to time for training, an educators need new time to experiment with new technologies and to developed materials using technology, see what are the disadvantages of IT in field of education, for me it's a little waste of time when it is first use in educational system.
As a future educator it is my responsibility to know that there is no provision of time for educators to do so other than to do it on their own time. It is a common, according to Dawes, it stressed the importance of good time to management because the internet can seemingly absorb infinite of time for communication purpose.
Another obstacles in IT in educational practice is that IT do not have long-term staff development to support the integration of technology into instruction. We cannot deny the fact also that their are some hardware which is not easy to understand and not easy to operate which is one hindrance of IT in educational system.
We must be patient enough to acquire basic necessity in IT.
